While on the train, the man finds a camera which contains many photos of a woman. The man went to where the woman worked and returned the camera. The woman who had the camera finally paid for it by treating her to coffee. As they talk, the woman asks if the man has someone special in his life. And the man said no. Turns out, that woman was his lover in the past. But the man can't remember because of an accident. The woman always helps the man, but for years the man can't remember anything.Vocabularies/language expressions learnt :1. Dissociative = a mental illness in which somebody feels uncertain about who they are and feels that they have more than one separate identity, each one having its own name, voice, memories, personality, etc.2. Temporary = lasting or intended to last or be used only for a short time; not permanent3. Figure = a number representing a particular amount, especially one given in official information
Activities : What did you do? what scores do you get?
I played the film only once. When watching movies, I still use subtitles because the characters in the film use a different language accent. Namely China. Not too many difficult vocabulary that I encountered. Because in my opinion, the vocabulary used is simple vocabulary.
Benefits : What benefits did you learn from this topic?In this video I learn English accents that native speakers don't. Also, there are some words that I don't know. This made me learn to look for the vocabulary, and learn to interpret a film properly and correctly.
Self-AssessmentThe speed was OK.The vocabulary was OK.The pronunciation was OK.This helped my listening skills. I think my listening skills are improving. I need to improve. listening to main ideas/listening to details/listening to numbers/listening to fast speech/listening to connected speech/listening for a long time/listening to other accents/my vocabulary/my pronunciation.
